I do not like reviews that give you the entire story in a nut shell. Why spoil it? Ms LeBlanc writes great creepy tales that give you the chills & make it hard to put he books down. I did not like this book,story was short didn't care for the ending we all saw before it came just not a good book
Enjoyed reading this book. Love reading on my app. Author writes great books. Love story line! A must read!
This lady can write but here she's only written a novella, not a novel. Potential readers have been done a disservice by not identifying the product correctly. As far as the end, it's pretty easy to guess.
Couldn't stand it, sick. Too much sex. I have read novels by Leblanc and really enjoyed them, she is a great writer, except for her short stories.
Yeah, yeah .. it's got a spooky voodoo queen living in the swamp, but that's about all it has going for it. Silly story line, worse ending. Read something else .. save your time for a better book.
I really enjoyed this book and it didn't surprise me that I would. I like reading these kind of stories especially when it's set in the environment of New Orleans. All I can say, without revealing the contents is that I thought it was pretty funny at the end. In other words I just wasn't thinking that it would like it did. GOOD BOOK.
I like her style, like her plots, like her characters, but what I don't like is that her books are almost too scary to read yourself to sleep with. It's more like "Read if you want nightmares." If you like a good ole ghost story though, she can't be beat. I liked this one better than the one I'm reading now, "Family Inheritance" or something like that. When something goes from ghost story to possession by evil spirits, I can't keep reading.
